Mother Fann was preceded in death by her parents, Forris and Effie Mae Powell, Sr. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Jefferson Hospital, Louisville, Georgia. Her family fondly remembers her hobbies that included fishing, watching television, sewing and gardening. Mother Fann also had a passion for arts and crafts. She loved to read and found exceptional strength in God by reading her bible daily. Fann was a member of One Way to God Apostolic Church of Wadley where she served as Mother of the Church and faithfully worked on the Pastor’s Aide and Missionary boards. Powell was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Gladys was a former employee of the Oxford Shirt Company and was a Certified Nurses Assistant at Vero Health and Rehabilitation in Wadley. Gladys Powell Fann was born on Decemin Bartow, Jefferson County, Georgia.
